Living in an
“Er” World
Did
you ever stop to think that if God had wanted someone else to do what
you’re doing, He would have assigned that other person?
Sometimes at my desk, I will think of many people who could do my job
better, easier, quicker and more effectively than I. I will get very discouraged.
I live in an “er” world...everyone is young-er, thinn-er,
quick-er, sweet-er than I am. Everyone else has been to more seminars,
read more books, understood more prophecies and done more etc. than I
can even imagine. Then God reminds me...that that may in fact be true,
but they are not here and I am. My question is not why am I, of all people,
here. My question is, since I am here, what does God have in mind for
me to do?
With open hands at the altar of today, remember, this is the day that
God has made. He Who has limitless resources, selected you to be you in
this day. And a wonderful verse will walk with you throughout your day’s
agenda. I Thessalonians 5:24 “Faithful is He Who called you...and
He also will bring it to pass.”
Remember, God has never made a mistake. Whom He assigns, He equips. Celebrate
this day of God’s choosing. Celebrate you, God does.
